August 2010 Dance - "Hot Melted Merengue"

Come spend a hot summer's night with us at our next monthly dance, "Hot Melted Merengue" on Saturday, August 21, 2010.

Doors open at 7:00 pm. The dance will be held from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm with a free merengue lesson at 7:30 pm. Open dancing will start at 8:00 pm and continue until 11:00 pm. We will have free cake, coffee, prizes and suprises. A variety of ballroom dance music will be played by DJ Dr. Rod. The dress code is dressy casual, no gym shoes or blue jeans. Admission is $8/person for USA Dance members, $12/person for non-members and $10/person for seniors 65 and older.

Dances are held at the McHenry VFW located at 3002 W. IL Route 120, McHenry, IL. The VFW has many great features: A spacious dance area, plenty of seating, a full-service cash bar and a wide variety of food you can purchase for a minimal price.
