	dancefoxvalley.org (Hit Browser Refresh Button To See New Content) ***PLEASE NOTE - NEW LOCATION FOR 2012** January 2012 Dance - "Fantastic Fifteen" at the Woodstock VFW** Come celebrate the start of our “FIFTEENTH" year on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at our NEW location! The WOODSTOCK VFW Hall which is located at 240 N. Throop St., Woodstock, IL. Doors open at 7:00 pm. The dance will be held from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm with a free Argentine Tango lesson at 7:30 pm from Professional Dance Instructors Frank and Jackie Penze. Open dancing will start at 8:00 pm and continue until 11:00 pm. We will have free cake, coffee, prizes and surprises. A variety of dance music will be played by DJ Dr. Rod. The usual dress code is dressy casual, no jeans or gym shoes. Admission is $8/person for USA Dance members, $12/person for non-members and $10/person for seniors 65 and older. Again our new location for all of our dances in 2012 (Except February’s) is the WOODSTOCK VFW located at 240 N. Throop St., Woodstock, IL. The VFW has many great features: Plenty of parking, a spacious dance area, plenty of seating and a full-service cash bar. The Greater Fox Valley of Illinois Chapter #2042 is a social ballroom dancing Chapter serving northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Our group was officially established as a USA Dance, Inc. Chapter in January 1997. Our monthly dances are open to the public. You do not have to be a USA Dance member to attend. We are a nonprofit organizaton. Over the past 14 years our Chapter has grown and continues to grow. We currently have well over 100 active members. Our monthly dances feature a digital stereo sound system, a syllabus containing a list of songs with the recommended dance and free cake, coffee and door prizes. A free dance lesson begins at 7:30 pm and is included with the admission. Open dancing starts at 8:00 pm and continues for 3 hours until 11:00 pm. Our dress code is dressy casual (no gym shoes or blue jeans) unless an announcement is made for a special or "theme dance". Admission is $8/person for USA Dance members, $12/person for non-members and $10/person for seniors 65 and older.
